FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: fuel tank containing the heating chamber 6 designed as a truncated pyramid open from below and having a plate 12 as a polygon on the top base is offered. Lateral sides 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the pyramid 6 are designed as trapezes made from close-meshed heat-conducting grids and fixed on a framework 7 and a plate 12. In the plate 12 the hole 13 for placement of the intake filter 3 in the pyramid 6 is provisioned. Under the bottom of the fuel tank 1 opposite to the pyramid 6 the electric heater 5 for the heating chamber is installed.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of fuel heating in a fuel tank, simplification of fuel tank design and providing conditions of its safe operation.
