FIELD: transportation of frozen or cooled piece goods. SUBSTANCE: cargo container includes heat-insulated practically parallelepiped-like box having ceiling, pair of lateral walls, pair of end walls and bottom. Cooling unit having hopper with ice is arranged in corner between one end wall and ceiling. Ducts for cooling air are arranged around hopper with ice for providing flow of cooling air by means of blower. Inner ceiling is placed in front of container ceiling and spaced from it. Space for separating both ceilings restricts duct for flow of cooling air fed from cooling unit. Edges of inner ceiling are spaced from inner sides of lateral walls and end wall opposite relative to wall supporting cooling unit. Invention provides uniform distribution of cold air and keeping of necessary temperature. EFFECT: improved design providing enhanced quality of transported frozen goods. 6 cl, 4 dwg
