FIELD: electrical engineering; on-line and emergency disconnection of heavy-current lines. SUBSTANCE: device has case 1 accommodating opposing electrodes 2 and 3 interconnected by means of destructible hollow current conductor 4 holding explosive-material charge 5 and arc-quenching filler 6; on outside it mounts additional destructible current conductor 7 placed between additional opposing electrodes 8 and 9 and separated from the them by releasing grooves 10, 11. Clearance between case 1 and additional destructible current conductor 7 is filled with arc-quenching filler 12 having air inclusion. Opposing electrodes 2 and 3 are provided with arcing contacts 14 and 15. Each of opposing electrodes 2 and 3 as well as each of additional opposing electrodes 8 and 9 are provided with separate buses 16, 17, 18, and 19, respectively. Case with electrodes is sealed and electrodes are separated from each other by means of grooves 20 filled with polymerizing material. Additional destructible current conductor 7 has two longitudinal grooves 21, and 22. EFFECT: enhanced rated current and breaking capacity of fuse. 5 cl, 2 dwg
