TECHNIQUE OF AMPLIFICATION OF ELECTRIC SIGNALS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2177204 C2

FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to design amplifiers with high amplification of power. Technique includes formation of summary signal comprised of amplified signal and balance feedback signal, division of above-mentioned signal into two components of which first component is fed to input of amplifier 4 and second component after summing with signal opposite in phase to amplified signal and directly proportional to signal across output of amplifier is additionally amplified and used as above-mentioned balance feedback signal. In this case additional amplification of balance feedback signal is carried out by way of preliminary division of this signal into two components of which one component is summed up with second component after amplification. Besides this first error signal directly proportional to difference of balance feedback signal after its additional amplification and balance feedback signal before its additional amplification which is subtracted from balance feedback signal before its additional amplification is formed. Apart from this, if level of first error signal is inadequate the latter is additionally divided into two components of which one is summed up with second component after amplification. In this case second error signal directly proportional to difference between first error signal after its amplification and first error signal before its amplification which is then summed up with amplified component of balance feedback signal. EFFECT: reduced level of nonlinear distortions and noises, secured stable operation of balance feedback signal circuit and compensation for non-linear distortions and noises induced by amplifier of balance feedback signal. 1 cl, 4 dwg
