FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, namely to the field of formation and transmission of radio signals, and can be used for linear amplification of radio signals with vector modulation in nonlinear power amplifiers in conditions of the need to meet the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic means. To achieve the technical result, the input signal with vector modulation is represented as a common-mode and quadrature components of the signal, two phase-modulated signals with a constant envelope are formed, their nonlinear amplification is carried out, the combination and formation of quadrature feedback is set, the modulation index of the phase-modulated components is set, control signals are formed as a result of combining the common-mode and quadrature components of the input signal with phased quadrature feedback signals, functional components are formed, which are the result of approximations of the cosine and sine functions by a limited number of terms of the Taylor series expansions, a phase shift by π/2 between the formed phase-modulated signals is performed. The device contains a signal generation circuit, nonlinear power amplifiers, a linear adder, a directional coupler, balanced modulators, a high-frequency signal source, a phase shifter for π/2, an additional functional component shaper and a vector signal shaper, an attenuator, a phase shifter for π/2, a linear adder and a linear subtractor.
EFFECT: implementation of modulation in a wide frequency range of the carrier oscillation, increasing the linearity of the envelope.
