FIELD: oil pollution removal. SUBSTANCE: solution with oil-oxidizing microorganisms is introduced into zone to be cleaned, wherein cathode and anode are placed. Between electrodes, constant electric current is passed and solution accumulated near cathode is collected and reintroduced into cleaning zone. Current is periodically switched on and off and temperature of ground near the surface of anode is maintained within a range of 10 to 20 C. Simultaneously, it is possible to inject air periodically into cleaning zone and pump out vapors of petroleum and petroleum products therefrom. Invention can be used for grounds with altered and unaltered structure. EFFECT: optimized temperature conditions and pH values of ground favorable for vitality of microorganisms and reduced power consumption. 4 cl, 2 dwg
