FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: dark petroleum polymer resin, based on heavy resin obtained by pyrolysis of petroleum stock boiling in the range 190-360 C under mild conditions in presence of wastes from production of organoaluminum compounds, is prepared by blowing initial material with air at 130-150 C in presence of diethylaluminum chloride production slimes. Resulting resins can be used as softeners in manufacture of tires as well as for production of bitumenless binding agents in manufacture of plastic-concrete materials, anticorrosive coatings and road carpets. EFFECT: enabled conduction of process under mild conditions and reduced expenses due to use of waste. 1 tbl
