FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of production of vegetable oils used as film-forming agent in paint and varnish, polygraphic, light industries, as binding agent in building industry. Oxidized vegetable oils are produced by oxidation of semi-drying vegetable oil with air oxygen by air flowing for 20 h-1 in the range of temperatures 130-150 C, in the presence of slimes from production of diethylaluminium chloride up to attainment viscosity value 2760-2960 s. The proposed method is used for production of light oxidized vegetable oils under mild conditions in the presence of nontoxic inexpensive catalysts. EFFECT: improved method of production. 2 tbl, 5 ex
