FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: device can be used for protection of doors in railway cars with possibility of remote control of integrity of electronic-mechanical locking-and-sealing device and reading off its identification code. Electronic-mechanical locking-and-sealing device consists of length of steel wire rope one end of which stop is secured undetachably and clamp is provided which is installed for moving along wire rope towards stop and wedging at attempt of backward shifting. Core of wire rope is made in form of insulated current conductor and is connected from side of free part of wire rope length with at least one of its outer strands and at other side, end of conductor and strand are connected by electronic unit. All indicated connections are made current-carrying, and length of wire rope is secured in stop through outer strands. Electronic unit with storage cell, transceiver system and antenna is arranged in stop housing and is closed from outside by cover permeable to electromagnetic radiation. Device has die to form loop of wire rope between stop and clamp and orientation of transceiver antenna relative to remote control device. When carrying out dynamic control of railway car sealed by electronic-mechanical locking-and-sealing device, it is possible to located the railway car on its route and reveal attempts of plundering of carried loads after processing of information by personal computers and operative transmission of information into Main Computer Center of Ministry of Railway.
