FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed clamping device can be used for clamping length of cable, where necessary, in device preventing unauthorized into protected objects with provision of remote checking of cable integrity and providing possibility of taking measures preventing unauthorized access to equipment. Proposed device contains steel cable and housing with electronic mark made for transmission of signal is case of cable breakage. Steel cable is made for passing through sealing unit (eyes) of object under protection. First end of cable is rigidly secured in housing, and other end of cable is passed through housing and is fastened by means of clamping members. Resistive layer of preset resistance is applied to outer surface of cable. Outer strands of first and second ends of cable are connected, respectively, with first and second contacts connected with bridge circuit electrically coupled with control unit. bridge circuit and control unit are made in computer or as separate electronic unit coupled with computer.
