METHOD OF DIRECTIONAL HYDRAULIC FRACTURING OF FORMATION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: oil- and gas-producing industry; applicable in increasing of productivity of newly put into operation and running producing and injection wells. SUBSTANCE: method includes lowering into well of device for cutting slots in casing pipe, injection of abrasive fracturing fluid, suspension of liquid carrier with solidifying material and displacing fluid. They are injected at flow rate ensuring bottom-hole pressure higher than pressure of formation fracturing. Injected material is left to stand for process purposes, and well is brought into service. Cut out in casing pipe is slot circular in cross-section and conusoidal in profile to provide for jet drilling effect. During injection of fluid through slot, circular slot conical in shape is cut out in casing string and in cement stone and rock in plane square to axis of casing pipe. Then slot is deepened and fracturing fluid is injected. EFFECT: higher efficiency and simplification of method.
