FIELD: electric measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: contactless current meter for underground pipe-lines has two ferrosonde magnetometers as minimum, operational mode switch, measurement limit switch, selective amplifier, detector and output indicator connected in series with magnetometers. One magnetometer is single-component magnetometer and the other magnetometer is double-component magnetometer which second magnetic axis matches radial pipe of pipe-line and is perpendicular to first magnetic axis of said magnetometer and lies in plane passing through magnetic axis of first magnetometer and first magnetic axis of second ferrosonde magnetometer which are directed in opposition. Output of first ferrosonde magnetometer is connected to first input of operational mode switch, first output of second ferrosonde magnetometer is connected to second input of operational mode switch and second output of second ferrosonde magnetometer is connected to first input of null detector. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of depth of laying of pipe-lines and of currents flowing over them. 1 dwg
