FIELD: radio communications; transparent data transmission/reception. SUBSTANCE: headset is designed for use by persons suffering partial or medium hearing loss, those operating in combat situations or in absence of protection against environmental noise. Headset components are installed in pockets of headband so that two throat-type microphones occur in temporal part of user's head and telephones are placed in vicinity of his ears. Output of each microphone is connected to input of amplifier built in microphone case; microphone output is connected through cable to input of compensating amplifier built in case of each of two earphones; outputs of both compensating amplifiers as well as inputs of earphones are interconnected in parallel and connected through cable terminating in plug connector to portable radio set, mobile telephone set, or to other transmit/receive system. Microphones may be placed on same or opposite sides of user's head in pockets of headband or they be directly attached to user's head by means of adhesive tape or adhesive compound.
