SUBSTANCE: device comprises a housing in which there is a computer with an independent power supply and software which enables, through a computer input device, to input into the computer acoustic signals in different languages, translation thereof using the corresponding software and emitting in the form of acoustic translated signals through an output device. The acoustic signal input and output devices are designed and arranged such that it is possible to perform spatial selection of acoustic signals generated by speakers and to suppress external acoustic interference and noise by active noise reduction techniques using multi-band signal processing.
