SUBSTANCE: in intercom system for internal communication of crew members working in conditions of increased acoustic noise, containing five subscriber units, five same type of headset, each consisting of left and right headphones, an amplifier microphone (or an electromagnetic laryngophone with an amplifier), a chest-type switcher with a connecting four-wire cord and a switching unit, an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) is additionally introduced into each of the subscriber units made in the form of signal formers, delay line, delay time switcher, two digital-to-analogue converters (DACs) and a pushbutton switch, and also by changing the connection diagram of the headset and the chest switcher with the connecting cord, dividing the headphones of the headset with microphone in the left and right phones, dividing a transmission of incoming signals from its microphone to the left and right headphones with a time shift of 25 and 50 ms, the implementation of the principle of stereophonic effect in the device, which contributed to giving individuality to each speaker and increasing the accuracy of determining the direction of the speaking crew member.

EFFECT: increase the recognizability of the speaking member of the crew.
