FIELD: mechanical engineering; ground servicing of aircraft. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes carrier secured in rear portion of tractor with fork-shaped grip at one end. Carrier is provided with double-sided shock absorber. Movable part of shock absorber on which balancing unit with towing rope is mounted in connected with double-sided rod of hydraulic cylinder. Hydraulic cylinder body is rigidly connected with grip and is provided with sliding stops engageable with carrier body. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of towing at increased adhesion weight of tractor at reduced dynamic loads in coupler at taking-off and braking. 3 dwg
