FIELD: lubrication materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of plastic greases from oil wastes, e. g. from metallurgical enterprises, used for greasing friction units and machine and mechanism sliding assemblies operated under especially heavy conditions. Mineral oil-based grease contains, wt %: synthetic fatty acids and/or spent palm oil 3.4-18.5, spent mineral oil 30-35, spent vegetable oil 2.1- 7.5, lime 6.6-13.9, acetic acid 3.4-4.8, and additive 0.02-5. Into cooker are loaded consecutively preliminarily mixed and passed through rotarypulsating apparatus spent mineral oil and lime, spent vegetable oil, and either synthetic fatty acids and mineral oil or synthetic fatty acids and preliminarily mixed and passed through rotary-pulsating apparatus mineral oil and spent palm oil, after which acetic acid is added, the total is subjected to saponification and heat treatment, followed by introducing additive and packaging using rotary-pulsating apparatus.
