FIELD: lubricants. SUBSTANCE: synthetic fatty acid fraction C20 and higher is oxidized with air oxygen at 110-160 C for 10-24 h until hydroxyacid level 10 to 30 wt.% is attained. After that, mazut at fatty acid fraction-to-mazut ratio 1: 3 is added, mixture is heated to 80 C, and calcium hydroxide at fatty acid fraction-to-calcium hydroxide ratio 2:(1.01-1.5) is added. Resulting reaction mixture is stirred for 3-4 h at 110-140 C until complete saponification. Grease thus obtained can find miscellaneous applications. EFFECT: simplified preparation procedure, reduced expenses on starting materials, and extended application temperature range. 1 tbl, 3 ex
