FIELD: liquefaction of gases. SUBSTANCE: starting flow of compressed gas is divided into two parts. First part is cooled in cooler by counter flow; second part is fed to vortex tube. Hot flow from vortex tube is directed to heat exchanger and after heat exchanger this flow is combined with first part after cooler; this flow is directed for expansion and then to reservoir for separation of liquid fraction from gaseous one. Gaseous fraction discharged from reservoir is combined with cold flow escaping from vortex tube and is directed to heat exchanger in counter flow. Hot flow after vortex tube may be cooled before heat exchanger in external cooling heat exchanger. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of liquefaction. 4 cl, 1 dwg
