FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: flowmeter includes measuring section of pipe-line with pressure transducer and two ultrasonic converters, analog commutator, reference generator, timer, former of probing pulses, receiving amplifier, comparator, flip- flop, pulse counter, addition circuit, subtraction circuit, N storages connected in parallel and linked to second commutator, unit determining type of gas atmosphere, unit of code of standard density, code divider, pulse generator, logic circuit determining instant phase of oscillations of reference generator at moment of termination of counting, M reservoir capacitors connected to outputs of converter of supply levels and M commutator connected in parallel, input of each commutator being connected to reservoir capacitor and output of each commutator being linked to supply circuit of each unit through proper ripple filter. Meter displays raised precision thanks to reduction of measurement results to normal conditions by temperature, pressure and density of gas and high reliability due to long-term operation without replacement of power supply source.
