Process of manufacture of fiber light guide includes drawing of fiber light guide in vacuum, magnetron sputtering of protective jacket in the form of metal film on light guide, heating of metal film to temperature of its softening, cooling of fiber light guide and its reeling up. Drawing and sputtering are conducted in vacuum <10-3 mm Hg. After drawing fiber light guide is subjected to plasma cleaning.
