FIELD: manufacture of waveguides. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of waveguides of integrated optical circuit of fiber-optical gyroscope consists in formation of channel waveguides of Y-divider of optical power of beam in substrate made of material displaying linear electrooptical effect. Width of input channel waveguide secures that cutoff wavelength of input channel waveguide of Y-divider is less than any spectral component of overall spectrum of radiation of source. Angle of taper α of waveguides of Y-divider on end faces of substrate is determined from condition where nc is refractive index of material of substrate; Δn is difference of refractive indices of materials of channel waveguides and substrate. Metal electrodes are deposited in region of location of output channel waveguides of Y-divider to form electric field in them, channel waveguides of Y-divider are mated with single-mode fiber light guides. Widths of channel waveguides of bent sections of Y-divider, their cutoff wavelength equal to central wavelength of radiation spectrum of source are secured by selection. Widths of channel waveguides of Y-divider in region of location of system of electrodes are so selected that their cutoff wavelength λc meets condition λc≥ λmin, where λmin is spectral component of short-wave part of overall spectrum of radiation of source by level of 0.5.
