FIELD: electrical engineering for industry and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: device designed for voltage regulation across high-voltage side of transformer substations feeding industrial and agricultural plants for heating premises, water heating, and the like has booster transformer and three-phase thyristor switch inserted in series with star-connected secondary winding of booster transformer; secondary winding of the latter is connected to that of main transformer. Primary windings of main and booster transformers are connected in series. One more heating element is connected to terminals of transformer thyristor switch to function as auxiliary heating sources for main heaters installed at transformer substation loads. EFFECT: enhanced power characteristics of substation. 1 dwg
