FIELD: three-phase voltage regulators for high-frequency pulse-width modulation of booster voltage. SUBSTANCE: regulator has three-phase transformer whose primary winding is connected to supply mains through three-phase reversible thyristor switch and secondary winding is inserted in load circuit. Switch is built around four three-phase intelligent modules and one turn-off thyristor. Two of mentioned modules are connected into three-phase switch circuit using bidirectional thyristors and two other ones, into thyristor rectifier bridge circuit shorted out by turn-off thyristor. Modules are turned on by current interruption in primary winding of three-phase transformer with aid of cut-off thyristor. Minimal quantity of cut-off thyristors provides for stepless regulation of load voltage within desired range of its high and low values relative to supply voltage. EFFECT: improved mass and size characteristics, simplified design and control algorithm, improved power characteristics and speed of response. 2 dwg
