FIELD: medicine, in particular, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for surgical removal of foreign magnetic intraocular body from eyeball cavities and structures is made in the form of operative-diagnostic intraocular manipulation instrument having working part and magnet, and casing formed as sleeve with two annular bases interconnected by cylindrical cross-member. Magnet has angular head movable through two annular bases, in parallel with working part of instrument, which is beyond eye and is moved into eye to magnetize and fix foreign intraocular magnetic body. The latter is withdrawn from eye together with instrument. Apparatus allows foreign intraocular magnetic body that had been "lost" from surgeon's visual field during replacement of operative-diagnostic instrument with magnet to be removed. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction, reduced operation time and decreased risk of occurrence of complications. 1 dwg
