FIELD: by-product coke industry. SUBSTANCE: dry coke extinguishing chamber has flow divider made in the form of cylinder and blowing head located inside cylinder. Flow divider and blowing head are mounted on beams-gas conduits. Annular channel with gas openings is arranged in chamber lower part. Cylinder is formed double-walled and mounted so that space between walls is communicated with annular channel. Cylinder outer wall is equipped with gas distributing windows arranged over its entire surface. Height of cylinder walls and blowing head is 1/2 the height of extinguishing zone of chamber or exceeds it. Cylinder inner wall may be equipped with gas distributing windows.
