FIELD: coal-tar chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: chamber of coke fire dry extinguishing has body 1 with loading hole 2, unloading hole 3 and gas outlet slant passages 4; ring-type collectors 5, 6 and 7 for gas going out, located outside of the body on different height; blasting device, made of several collectors 8, 9, 10, 11 and provided with branch pipes 12, 13, 14, 15 with slide shutters 16, 17, 18, 19 for gas feeding. Body 1 below slant passages 4 is made in the form of a truncated cone. The chamber has means (slide shutters) t regulate consumption of cooling gas. Speed of gas stream in upper layers of coke is maintained below the speed of coke small fractions carrying away. Gas stream speed in lower layers of coke is maintained high enough to blast coke small fractions and dust out of the layers. EFFECT: increased production capacity. 1 dwg
