FIELD: exciting circular polarization waves in round waveguides. SUBSTANCE: exciter using H₁₀ wave for exciting circular polarization waves in round waveguides has round waveguide of length l_B with ground switch and longitudinal excitation slits made in side walls of round waveguide at distance λ_В/2 from ground switch, where λ_В is wavelength in round waveguide, and Y-shaped E-plane T-joint whose arms are made in the form of similar- area rectangular waveguide sections; output arms are bent in E-plane and connected to side walls of round waveguide perpendicular to these walls at locating points of excitation slits; their sectional areas are aligned with those of excitation slits. EFFECT: provision for exciting circular polarization waves in round waveguides by means of linear polarization wave of rectangular waveguide. 7 dwg
