FIELD: preparation of main aluminium chlorosulfates which are useful as coagulants. SUBSTANCE: main aluminium chlorosulfate is prepared by creating main aluminium chloride with sulfuric acid in the presence of aluminium hydroxide. Sulfuric acid is added in amount sufficient for complete dissolution of aluminium hydroxide. Aluminium hydroxide is used in amount sufficient for preparing solid crystal hydrate of main aluminium chlorosulfate. Invention makes it possible to simplify process and to attain any ratio of sulfate ion to chlorine ion. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 3 cl
