FIELD: sketch supporting equipment. SUBSTANCE: easel has supporting poles, extensible legs, drawer for receiving art material, base adapted for supporting plotting board and equipped with device for fixing plotting board in working position. Easel has casing for plotting board pivotally connected with U- shaped supporting pole. Base for plotting board is formed as pivotal frame freely attached to supporting pole. Plotting board fixing device is made in the form of lower movable support and upper retainer, which is positioned on plotting board. Supporting pole, rotary frame, movable support and extensible legs are manufactured from angular sections. Easel of such construction may be used by artists in studios and in plain air.
