FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring electric skin conductivity in symmetrically positioned representative acupuncture points corresponding to peripheral nerve projections. Asymmetry coefficient KA is calculated as skin conductivity index. The KA>0.8, nerve injury is considered to be the case. KA value is repeatedly determined in postoperative period and reflexotherapy is applied. KA <0.8 in distal points and KA>0.8 in distal and segmental points are treated as follows. KA value dropping down more than by 0.1, nerve regeneration is diagnosed to be the case. No changes in KA value or its growth being found, nerve suture inconsistency is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis. 2 dwg
