LOAD-LIFTING CRANE ELECTROHYDRAULIC DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: full-swing cranes; controls of electrohydraulic drives. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control drives of load-lifting full-swing cranes installed on armored retrievers. Device is made on base chassis of tank with control compartment furnished with seats for crew secured on floor and panels with control levers. Device has throttles with manual controls for lifting and lowering crane boom and load and throttle with general speed control, all made in form of separate units and installed on bearing panel. Throttles are connected to pressure main line through electrohydraulic distributors with output of controlled hydraulic lines through pilot-controlled check valves to boom and load lifting and lowering and crane swinging operating hydraulic drives. Bearing panel is fixed on control compartment floor from lower side to the right from tank driver seat and is made in form of box frame. Throttle unit housing with general speed control and load and crane boom lifting and lowering controls are secured on box frame walls in one vertical plane, one over the other, being fastened by bolts and studs. Paired housing of control handle and upper toothed sector are hinge- secured on housing of throttle unit with general speed control through axle. Upper toothed sector is in meshing with gear coupled with output shaft of throttle with control by toothed sector. Middle toothed sector is hinge- secured through axle on housing of throttle unit with load lifting and lowering control and is in meshing with gear coupled with output shaft of throttle with load lifting and lowering control. Tie-rod is hinge-mounted through axle on middle toothed sector eccentrically. Free end of tie-rod is hinge-coupled with shank of lower toothed sector hinge-mounted on housing of throttle unit with crane boom lifting and lowering control and coupled with gear connected with output shaft of throttle with crane boom lifting and lowering control. Throttle with general speed control is used simultaneously as throttle with crane swing control. Slot ports of all throttles and slot ports of all housing are made with overlap for angle of turning equal to 10-20 deg. Through slot for handle housing is made in control compartment floor. Arc shaped rack is secured coaxially with slot. Rack is used as angle position lock of handle furnished with movable spring-loaded tooth connected with handle to engage with rack.
