FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method includes driving of primary chamber working by formation of ice pillar consisting in supply to working of nonfreezing agent with density less than that of water and subzero temperature; supply of water by portions, and driving of secondary chambers. In so doing, time of freezing of ice pillar is determined by calculation depending on temperature of coolant. Proposed method is used for mining of mineral deposits under conditions of permafrost rocks (cryolite zones) by systems with filling of worked-out space in formation of filling mass (artificial ice pillar). Claimed reduces terms of ice pillar formation under permafrost conditions, that ensures increase of productivity of underground mineral deposits. EFFECT: higher efficiency of method. 3 cl, 2 dwg
