FIELD: shipbuilding; marine propulsors with vertical axes located transversely relative to direction of flow at constant controllable orientation of blades. SUBSTANCE: propulsor has many blades 1 revolving around vertical axis and held by plate 2 used for securing these blades. Plate 2 revolves around vertical axis irrespective of rotation of individual blades 1. Besides that, it includes engine for rotation of plate 2 and fixed pulse electric motor 10 for each blade 1, revolving shaft 17 held by body 3 of rotor connected with plate 2; spindles 15 located coaxially on rotor have independent rotatable connection with revolving shaft 17. Number of spindles 15 corresponds to number of separate blades 1. Spindles 15 revolve independently, thus ensuring independent rotation of respective blade 1 irrespective of other blades. At one revolving shaft 17 and spindles 15 are located inside body 3 of rotor and at other they are located outside body 3 of rotor. Located on inner and outer ends of each spindle 15 is first unit (14, 18) for transmission of motion from respective electric motor 10 to respective revolving blade 1. Respective unit (12, 20) located at axis of blade 1 and at axis of respective electric motor 10 is used for transmission of motion to first unit (14, 18); it also includes one interface between operator and electronic control unit of propulsor. Electric motors 10 are controlled by means of electronic control unit; provision is made for control of position and orientation of respective blade 1.
