FIELD: aviation; designs of rotor drive systems.
SUBSTANCE: aircraft (100) with a main rotor (40) is equipped with a propulsion system (10). The aircraft (100) contains a rotating shaft (50) which rotates the main rotor (40). The propulsion system (10) contains a rod (20) mechanically connected to a rotating shaft (50). A motor group (30) is installed at each end of the rod (20), and each motor group (30) contains a pair of screws (32, 32') of opposite rotation. In this case, the specified pair of screws (32, 32') of opposite rotation is set in such a way that it can generate a torque to rotate the rod (20).
EFFECT: reducing the length of the rotating rod, thereby bringing the counter-rotating screws closer to the axis of the rotating shaft and reducing the centrifugal acceleration to which the motors are subjected.
