SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to structures of rotary-wing aircrafts and their propulsion units. Rotary-wing aircraft (100) is equipped with propulsion unit (10), wherein specified aircraft (100) contains rotating shaft (50) adapted for the rotation of main rotor (40). The propulsion unit contains rod (20) mechanically connected to rotating shaft (50) of the aircraft, wherein on at least one of ends of specified rod (20), electrical fan (30) is installed, actuated by a battery and designed to rotate rod (20) around the axis of rotating shaft (50), so that the rotation of rod (20) can be used for the rotation of main rotor (40). Rod (20) is preferably made of carbon fiber.
EFFECT: reduction in the aircraft weight, reduction in costs compared to existing aircrafts.
