FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator has fixed housing and movable base to fix member being isolated. The base is connected with friction member. The friction member is connected to the housing through flexible member. The base is made of beam of rectangular cross-section. The ends of the beam are provided with cylindrical pins. The cylindrical pins are received in the housing opening forming cylindrical hinges. The flexible member is a rod-like fixing arm. The fixing arm is inserted into hollow of the cylindrical pin and connected to the housing through membrane. The membrane is switched by means of jaw which embraces it. The jaw is fixed to the movable base. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of vibration isolation. 3 dwg
