FIELD: radioelectronic industry; instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for protecting radioelectronic equipment and instruments from vibrations. Proposed vibration isolator contains stationary housing and movable base for fastening object to be isolated and connected with friction member brought in contact with housing by means of elastic elements. Friction member is made in form of bracing bushing with axial threaded hole installed on base for free rotation around longitudinal axis and brought into friction contact through its side surface with housing and base. Elastic elements are made in form of two lengths of wire rope located coaxially with bushing at opposite sides. Ends of wire rope lengths remote from bushing are secured on housing, and other ends are connected with rods provided with different-helix thread turned into bushing from opposite sides. EFFECT: improved efficiency of vibration isolation owing to provision of adaptive readjustment of vibration isolator. 2 dwg
