FIELD: protection of electronic equipment against vibrations. SUBSTANCE: proposed vibration isolator has fixed housing and movable base for securing the object protected which is provided with elastic friction joint with housing. Base is made in form of rectangular plate secured as cantilever on housing and provided with axle with ends projecting beyond plate and freely received by elliptical slots found in housing, thus forming fixed cylindrical hinges with them. Half-round recesses found in lower part of slots at some distance from points of location of axle ends are used for limitation of linear displacement of axle ends forming fixed cylindrical hinges with them. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to possibility of adaptive re-adjusting of vibration isolator parameters. 1 dwg
