FIELD: manufacture of objects with different contours of separate fragments; textile industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in loading bundle of wood fibers in microtome slot, compressing this bundle and cutting free ends of fibers; compressed part is forced out of slot and cut is made with sharp knife at opposite end of microtome. Adhesive is applied to one side of section which is transferred to microscopic slide by its free end. EFFECT: enhanced strength of section and directivity of fiber fragments in section. 5 cl, 6 dwg
