FIELD: manufacture of fiber capillaries from quartz glass and flexible waveguides on their basis used in the field of oncology radiology for radiotherapy of malignant tumors, and in the capacity of main units in other instruments of similar purpose. SUBSTANCE: method includes coating of internal surface of blank and pulling capillary from it for fiber capillaries simultaneously at the stage of plastic deformation in heating zone. Coating is made with solid-state material with high diamagnetic properties. In flexible waveguide made in the form of bundle of thin-walled capillary fibers, the bundle outlet end face is capable of changing of azimuth-radial distribution of fiber capillaries.
