FIELD: cosmetic preparations. SUBSTANCE: the innovation refers to cosmetic composition which develops a film-forming cover joined by cross-sectional bonds of hybrid material upon keratin substrate after drying and, to its application, in the field of means for hair care, make up means and those for skin care, in particular. Composition is being the one of sol/gel type obtained by mixing of, at least, one metaloorganic compound and, at least, one functionalized organic polymer or its precursor distinct from metaloorganic compound, sufficient amount of water for hydrolysis of metaloorganic compound; and, not obligatory, at least, one alcohol. Moreover, the cover mentioned is irreversible by its character. EFFECT: prolonged fixation and/or hair dyeing at a single application of the composition after drying, improved covering power and stable eyelashes' and nails' dyeing, improved cosmetic skin care and protection due to development of invisible film. 21 cl, 6 ex
