FIELD: chemical industry, production of high-quality of diamonds. SUBSTANCE: device incorporates cathode, anode and solenoid coil to transmute carbon black to diamonds thanks to travel of ions of carbon from cathode to anode and compression by Lorentz force under action of electric and magnetic fields. Device also has hollow quartz cylinder with chamber where carbon black is heated by high-frequency currents to carbon ignition temperature. Solenoid coil forming asymmetric magnetic field between cathode and anode is placed around above-mentioned chamber. EFFECT: production of high-quality diamonds. 1 dwg
