METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF WICK THERMAL APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of thermal apparatus by means of burner using capillary effect. SUBSTANCE: thermal apparatus consists of the following components arranged in its housing: wick burner, splitter with holes, casing, screen cover, pipe line fittings with adjusting part, fuel tank, fuel intake and wick bowl; manufacture consists in stamping the blank for housing from thin-sheet metal, blank for perforated plates for splitter and casing, blank for fuel intake and wick bowl; then, casing is fitted with screen cover and circular spring, sharp edges of the said blanks are dressed, pipe line fittings are checked for tightness; two perforated plates are rolled by one pass into cylinders and are connected to splitter; the said members are mounted and secured on housing; then paint is applied and apparatus is dried after which wick is laid in bowl; fuel intake and wick bowl are connected to pipe line fittings and are checked for tightness after assembly; shield of apparatus is protected; apparatus is painted and is dried in heated and ventilated cabinet. EFFECT: reduced number of technological operations; low cost of manufacture. 8 dwg
