FIELD: gas-dynamic casings of wick burners. SUBSTANCE: casing has thin-walled cylindrical bushing, disk screen with flange, and connecting member; fluted groove is formed on inner wall of bushing over ascending spiral whose angle of inclination is greater than critical value; connecting member is made in the form of flexible L-section ring one of whose flanges comes in contact with external flange of screen and other one is free to slide over external surface of bushing. Such design ensures steady burning of wick, reduced emission of detrimental impurities from wick burner area, reduced in-service concentration of carbon oxide when operating in heavy-wind regions within narrow space.
