FIELD: detection of neutron fluxes. SUBSTANCE: technique of laser detection of neutron fluxes is based on sounding of volume of air medium ( or gas dish ) subjected to effect of neutron flux by laser radiation and on recording of its absorption by products of radiation processes. Isotopes of carbon dioxide 14CO2, formed by capture of neutrons by nuclei of molecules of nitrogen with subsequent oxidation by oxygen of air are used as absorbing product.
