FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: system has power supply, charging device, storage capacitor, and control units their quantity depending on number of mechanisms under control; each control unit has two controllable switches with respective control elements; command signal arrives at control element of second switch through timer. Isolating diode is inserted between power supply and winding of mechanism under control; timer is built around single-shot multivibrator; connected to the latter are setting element and capacitor. Charging device is, essentially, step-up voltage changer using standard circuit arrangement. Electromagnetic mechanism is turned on by energy stored in capacitor. Timer functions to limit time of capacitor discharge through electromagnetic mechanism. Charge setting time is much longer than operating time of mechanism. Power supply is used only to feed mechanism holding and capacitor charging currents which makes it possible to reduce its power capacity. EFFECT: reduced power requirement, size, and mass; enhanced speed. 1 dwg
