FIELD: fastening systems for items of clothes and other articles. SUBSTANCE: the article has an elastic extensible side panel having longitudinal and transverse dimensions. The material member with hooks is operatively connected to the first, side edge section of the side panel, and each material member with hooks comprises the base layer of hooks, which has the respective fastening zone and the respective grip zone. The fastening zone has a great number of hook members that are made integral with the base layer in the direction from the plane of the base layer of hooks. The hook members have a configuration for operative engagement with the selected engageable material with hooks. The grip zone has a relatively lesser density of the hook members per unit of area as compared with the fastening zone. The fastening zone is positioned between the side panel and the grip zone.
