FIELD: mechanical engineering; protection of electronic equipment and other objects against vibration and seismic action of high amplitude and duration transmitted through base in vertical and horizontal planes. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has inner and outer frames. Metal rods whose diameter is equal to 8-10 diameters of cable are located over perimeters of inner and outer frames in parallel with walls. Rods are made in form of sections whose length is equal to length of side of inner and outer frames. Rods are rigidly secured over perimeter of inner frame in its lower portion. The same rods are located in upper portion of outer frame; they are rigidly connected with ends of torsion bars made in form of set of round rods secured on sides of outer frame. Steel cable is passed between rods located over perimeters of inner and outer frames embracing them in figure-eight pattern. EFFECT: enhanced protection of electronic equipment and other objects under conditions of irregular low-frequency and single varying impact loads of different amplitude and duration transmitted through bases in vertical and horizontal planes. 1 dwg
