FIELD: instrumentation, ultrasonic devices of various assignment. SUBSTANCE: invention can be employed in ultrasonic liquid and gas flowmeters, level indicators and so on. Ultrasonic piezoelectric converter incorporates damper and piezoelement placed in branch pipe with the use of bushing coupled with one end to rear surface of damper and with other end coming in the form of flange to branch pipe through gasket, connecting wires and fitting. Bushing has inner thread, gasket being placed between rear surface of damper and bushing. One end of fitting comes in the form of cone and is located inside damper, its other end is positioned outside damper and is provided with female thread to screw in bushing. Exterior of branch pipe has shape of radiator. Receiving-emitting surface of converter is either convex or concave. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability. 3 cl, 5 dwg
